Rancho Del Rey is a sub-community of Chula Vista located just south of Bonita between I-805 and Hwy 125. More precisely between Otay Lakes Rd and E H St. It's home to about 6500 residents with an average age of 44. 63% of residents are homeowners.
The main road runs east and west directly through Rancho Del Rey with several residential neighborhoods north and south of E H St. Costco, Regal Cinemas, the Home Depot and several restaurants and markets are all lined up along this main thoroughfare. The Bonita Pointe Plaza is located at the corner of Otay Lakes Road and E H St., which is home to Ralph’s market, Starbucks, barbecue joints and auto care services. This is right across the street from discovery Park, which has a trail running east and rest through Rancho Del Rey.
Rancho Del Ray has three phases, Rancho Del Rey I, II and III. Homes are priced from $400,000 to $1.1 million. Higher-priced homes are located in Rancho Del Rey II whereas lower priced homes are located around the main thoroughfare.
